Six Months!

Never in my life has time moved so quickly than it has since I married my best friend. It feels like it was just yesterday we were going on our first date! I have learned, changed, and grown so much over these past six months.

I have spent the whole afternoon reminiscing on our special day and realized that it would be fun to share our special day with you!

VIDEOGRAPHY

I had a constant battle in my head whether or not I wanted a wedding video or not. Looking back now, deciding to do one was THE BEST MOVE! I have watched this video so many times, and it never gets old. Kyle Hustis captured every piece of happiness, love, support, and fun that day consisted of! I will place the link here, so that you can check out our video of our special day and all of the amazing work from Kyle!

FLOWERS

For our wedding, we hired Terri and Tammy Designs. What I find so great about this company is that they are so amazingly talented at bringing your ideas to life! Not only did they create the most beautiful bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres, but they also decorated EVERYTHING else! Seriously. From every single table in that cultural hall, to the cake, even to the aisle and arch for the ring ceremony! It was everything close to perfect! To check out some more of their work, click here to see their Instagram account!

RECEPTION

For our reception, we actually hired several different vendors around Arizona and they all performed above what I expected. The two companies that I wanted to share were Brrustic Designs & Material Girls. The first company that I would like to bring up is Brrusticdesigns. This is where our beautiful Donut wall, rustic background for our gift table, and giant chalk board came from! Another company that we used was Material Girls. They supplied all of the table cloths, linens, runners, and arch for our ring ceremony came from.

I highly recommend these amazing companies, and I found it extremely amazing how humble and kind they were as they worked together to create my dream wedding day. Check them out!

MUSIC

We hired a DJ for the wedding and I feel that there are several different ups and downs with this. One reason I enjoyed having a DJ is that we never had to worry about time to cut the cake, our first dances, bouquet toss, etc. However, I feel like you would save a couple hundred dollars by creating a Spotify album for your special day! You would need someone focusing on time for everything else, but you can get all of the songs you want!

Our reception was filled with acoustic covers, country songs, some older songs for our parents, and some throw back dance songs. Click here to check out some of my favorite love songs played as well as some more fun songs to be played at a wedding reception!

The Dress

Would you believe me if I told you my wedding dress came off of AMAZON?! Yep, no joke, Amazon! It was a long wait, but absolutely worth it! The measurements were PERFECT, and everything I dreamed of! My mom added sleeves, pearl and crystal beading throughout the lace, and even MADE my veil!!! If you know someone who has the same style that I do and is looking for a wedding dress, I would say take the time to look at this link here!

Jewlery

Charming Charlie's never disappoints! My favorite part about this store is the color coordination! I had decided that my "something blue" would be my jewelry set, so all I had to do was walk straight to the blue section! I was in the store for no more than 10 minutes and already found the perfect jewelry set for my big day!

I still wear this set often for church, ESPECIALLY during this winter season because that frosty blue is perfect for this time of year!

MAKEUP

I am so blessed to have such a talented sister! A little over a month before the special day, my sister micro bladed my eyebrows and also did my eyelash extensions. For the wedding day, she did my makeup. Check out her beauty account here!

HAIR

Fun Fact: I actually really enjoy doing hair, and had always had the desire to do my own hair on my wedding day. I decided to do a simple curl and twist some small pieces of hair back for my veil clip. I am super glad I made that decision because I was able to focus on the day and spend zero time worrying about fixing my hair all day! The link here is the curling iron that I used for the curls. I still use this iron and would definitely recommend it!

For the loose, wavy curls, I wrapped each section tightly causing the curls themselves to be very tight. After curling all of my hair, I lightly brushed through all of it, and applied some mouse to loosen up the curls. Then, I twisted some small sections, secured with a few bobby pins & hairspray, and there you have it! Simple, easy, and still beautiful.

BRENT

We ordered Brent's suit online from Express, his tie from Tie One On (originally a thicker tie, but he made it skinny), and of course, his American Flag socks from VANS.

I am so thankful for the blessing of having such an amazing man as my husband throughout my life and for the ability we all have to be sealed to our loved ones for time and all eternity. I am thankful for these amazing vendors and all of their hard work and non-stop kindness. If you or someone you know are looking for vendors for a special occasion, that you check these amazing companies out! You will NOT regret it!
