Getting to know Andie Rose
I cannot express my extreme gratitude to you all for tuning into my blog and supporting me throughout this first month of bogging! Although I have introduced myself a little bit, I think it would be nice to get a little more in depth about who I am and where I came from.

My Sweet Family
I was born in Gallup, New Mexico and very shortly after, adopted into a very loving family. My family consists of three children, all adopted from different families. I have an older sister, Meredith. We are six years apart and I couldn't have asked for a better sister to look up to! She is one of the most hard working and determined people I know! She is happily married to an awesome guy and they are currently expecting a sweet little girl in November. Guys, I am SO PUMPED to be an aunt! She is currently a microblading and brow specialist and is AMAZING at what she does! (PS :go check out her Instagram page! ) I also have a younger brother, Ian. Something pretty cool is that we are so close in age that we actually share the same age for two days! We have always spent our time together growing up and I have always considered him my "built in best friend". He is currently in his first year of College and working towards receiving his business degree. He is the "baby of the family" but definitely the tallest of the bunch.
I can honestly say that ALL of my success and happiness in life began from the example and love of my two parents. My beautiful mom, was a stay at home mom up until I was 10 and then became a Secretary for the LDS Instutues in several High Schools. This past year, she had the faith of following a strong prompting and returned to school to receive her teaching degree. She is now a fourth grade teacher and loving it. She has the sweetest heart and spends the majority of her time serving others and serving the Lord. She is one of the biggest examples in my life when it comes to the Gospel and when it comes to pushing through hard times. Throughout my life, my dad was always my #1 man. He is an architect for residential design and is extremely talented. He also spent four years as a Bishop and, like my mother, is an amazing example of being a child of God. He always took our family on adventures and introduced me to the things that I love today. Rock climbing, rappelling, camping, everything about nature and the outdoors. As much as I love my family, I must say that I am closest to my dad. He is my number one supporter on the soccer field and always knows how to encourage me through tough times. He is obsessed with what people call "Dad jokes" and can't ever resist to send me at least 5 a week. My dad is my best friend and always has been. There is a saying "Marry someone like your father" , well I am one of the luckiest girls to have found someone like my Father.
This past June, I married my best friend, Brent. I made a post a few weeks ago, so if you want to know about our funny and quick little love story, check it out! He played hockey his whole life up until graduating High School and still plays whenever he can. He is a convert of the Church and is an amazing example to me. After graduating High School, he made the decision of leaving his life in Arizona, to serve the Lord in the Charlotte, North Carolina mission. He is an insurance agent here in AZ, and currently attending BYU-Idaho online. He plans to get his degree in and have a career in medical sales. He is the most positive, hard working, talented, and most spiritual person I have come across. Like my dad, he enjoys cheesy jokes and has the MOST addictive laugh. There isn't ever a dull moment with him and I am so beyond blessed to have been able to marry my best friend. I strongly encourage everyone in their life to find themselves a Brent. (but not mine... mine is taken...hehe)
Soccer
I have played several sports throughout my life and loved all of them. T-ball, basketball, swim team, cross country, and the one that ruled them all, soccer. My life has consisted of many changes, however, soccer has been one of the constants in my life. It was always something I turned to on the good and bad days. I always looked forward to playing, even if it were a simple little practice. I played Varsity from my Freshman year all the way up to my Senior year in High School and then received an Athletic Scholarship to play College Ball. This was one of my greatest accomplishments in my life. After my first year of playing College Ball, I realized that I was putting this above everything else, including school and the Gospel. Long story short, I stopped playing College Soccer and said "See you later" to the first love of my life. I still play recreational soccer and am on several teams I play on throughout the week. I have hopes and dreams of returning to the field someday to play those last 3 years of College ball, but believe that if it is meant to happen, it will happen.
Hobbies
Besides soccer, I LOVE the outdoors! Climbing, rappelling, hiking, camping, and shooting. There is something about being outside that is so unbelievably comforting to me! I also enjoy crafting and woodwork. A small goal of mine is to create a little craft boutique of my own and create a little business to keep me busy while I am a stay at home mom someday.
LDS
I was raised a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon) and still attend. There is something about the Gospel that brings so much joy, comfort, and even stability into my life. Life consists of many changes, but the one thing in my life that I can always count on staying the same is the teachings of the Gospel. One of the best decisions I have made in life is to receive my own endowments. I received them in the Mesa, Arizona Temple (where I was sealed to my family when I was younger) A month after receiving my endowments, I was married and sealed to Brent in the Gilbert Temple.
Fun Fact- When I toured the Gilbert temple before it was dedicated, I had the strongest impression that that was going to be the temple I would be married in. Little did I know, three years later, that inspiration would come true.
The Temple is my favorite place to be. I made it a goal since going through the Temple my first time to attend the Temple at least once a week. It has been an extreme eye opener and testimony builder to see that the blessings of the Temple are REAL.
My hopes & Dreams
Throughout my childhood, I have wanted to be just about everything.I wanted to be a professional soccer player, a veterinarian, a nurse, a zookeeper, a teacher, a coach, a detective . As you can probably tell from my diverse list, you can probably tell that I love animals, children, and want to do something that changes lives. Today, my hopes and dreams when it comes to a career is between becoming a social worker for adoption, a high school counselor, or an elementary school teacher. As hard of a goal it is to accomplish, I will always have the goal of being on the US Women's soccer team. Although there are many careers that I would love to have, being a mother is my ultimate goal. I have always had a love for children and have always felt a connection, and have always had the desire to have children of my own.
