In case no one has told you today. . .

Have you ever had one of those days where the second you get out of bed, nothing seems to be going right? For example, the other day I woke up to get ready for work and nothing was working out for me. I woke up late before work. I couldn't find my clean work shirts so I had to wear the same one as the day before, and I could not find a SINGLE pair of matching socks AND didn't have time to eat breakfast. Then, I was five minutes late clocking in because the computer was not working, just to find out, I had the caps lock on the whole time while trying to sign in onto my account! So I had no one to blame, but myself. While at work (I work with children) , I was asked if I was pregnant. COOL. It was just little bits and pieces like this that occurred throughout my entire morning and afternoon. It was a simple comment that I received from one of my coworkers, that seemed to turn it around. "Andrea, I wish I had your shape!" Although it was a simple and quick compliment , I couldn't help but to smile and be a little more positive throughout my shift. She had no way of knowing the kind of morning I had, and the comment I received from the curious little crumb snatcher minutes before. The day became a lot easier and to think that it all turned around from a simple and easy compliment from someone!
How often do we reach out to others and say something kind? How often do we reach out and thank others for their hard work and efforts? I challenge all of you and will even make this a personal daily effort myself to say something kind and thank others more often. That coworker of mine won't ever understand the impact she made on me that day, but all that matters is she did. So let's give it a shot and turn someone's day around!
And in case no one has told you today. . .
You are beautiful. You are kind. I see your efforts with work and school. YES, your butt looks good in those jeans and NO, that shirt does not make you look fat! You are worth everything and you are so unbelievably valuable to me, your family, friends, and your Heavenly Father. You impact more lives than you know and you make my day brighter. Smile more, it looks good on you. And if it is hard to find positivity in your life today, take a second and say a prayer, listen to a church talk, or even give yourself a pep talk (trust me, it works). It is okay to have a bad day and struggle, but do not be hard on yourself! There WILL be better days, and you WILL have a better day ahead! Keep workin' hard and know that YOU CAN DO THIS! <3 I believe in you, I appreciate you, and I love you.
