And So The Adventure Begins

First and foremost, hello! My name is Andie and I am so excited to finally have the opportunity to create this blog! I have always enjoyed reading blogs especially from Baylie Janis, Teal Snow, & Al Carraway (go check them out!!!) and thought it would be awesome to give it a try! So let the adventure begin!

A little about me…

I was born in Gallup, New Mexico but raised in Chandler, Arizona. I am the middle of three children who are all adopted from different families. We were sealed together in the Mesa, Arizona Temple for time and all eternity. I have two amazingly strong, kind, and loving parents, an awesome big sis, and a pretty rad little brother. I am a proud member of the LDS church and have a very strong testimony on family, prayer, and life after death. Being adopted has it’s challenges, but it has shaped me to be the strong woman that I am today. With the challenges, lessons, and experience in being adopted myself, I plan to get my BSW and become a social worker for adoption or become a counselor and help others as they go through challenges in their own life. Although those are my desired career paths, nothing compares to the desire that I have to become a mother someday. I am married to the love of my life, and eternal best friend, Brent.

I have played soccer since I was four and have found that as my escape from the stress and worries in life. I played four years Varsity in High School and later received a scholarship to play in College. After my first year of playing in College, I faced many trials and decided to take a break from the field and focus on bettering myself as a person, student, friend, and now wife. I hope to return to the field someday, but only when the time is right. I LOVE the outdoors and enjoy hiking, camping, climbing & repelling, as well as wakeboarding. I have a passion for DIY Projects, interior design, and just recently fell in love with photography. I go to Target at least 3x a week and can honestly call it my second home. Costa Vida, Dr. pepper, and watermelon sour patch have my heart forever.

I look forward to sharing the things in my life that bring me so much happiness with each of you. I welcome you into my own world of exercise, fashion, beauty, fun & inexpensive DIY projects, recipes, relationships, travel, and being LDS. I look forward to seeing where this adventure will take us! :)

Thank you for tuning in!

XOXO, Andie Rose
